Security cameras & access
A camera system is only useful if the footage is there when you need it, and you can actually find it. Many installed systems fail on one or both counts: overwriting recordings within days, or requiring a back-office PC that hasn't been turned on in months.
What's covered
What you get
- Walk-through to work out what needs covering and what doesn't
- Camera selection and placement: entrances, registers, stock, parking
- Recorder sized for how far back you actually need to go
- Remote viewing on your phone, set up and tested with you
- Cameras on their own network segment, not alongside your business machines
- Default passwords changed, firmware current (most breached cameras are neither)
- Showing you how to pull and export a clip before you need to
- Existing systems taken over, repaired or extended
When people call
What that looks like
You've had an incident
Theft, a dispute, a damaged vehicle. The common discovery afterward is that the system was recording, but no one could retrieve the footage in a usable format.
Insurance or a landlord is asking
Requirements are usually specific about coverage and retention periods. It's worth reviewing them before purchasing equipment.
The system you inherited doesn't work
Half the cameras offline, an app no one can log into. Often repairable without replacing the entire system.
Not sure where to start?
Call and describe what's going on. If it's something we can resolve over the phone in a few minutes, that's exactly what we'll do, at no charge.
